TRAVEL STUDENTSHIPS FOR ICAR2016
4th Jan 2016
The International Conference on Arabidopsis Research (ICAR) is a well established annual meeting that encompasses all aspects of research on our favourite model organism. Therefore it is of broad interest to all plant scientists and usually attracts over 1000 attendees!
ICAR2016 takes place in late June in Gyeongju in South Korea and therefore offers a fantastic opportunity to attend an exciting venue and interact with a worldwide array of research excellence.
At GARNet we understand that the travel and registration associated with this meeting represents a significant financial burden for UK researchers so we are hoping to provide travel studentships to aid UK-based PhD students to attend ICAR2016. We are currently in discussions about the details of these grants but hope to be able to offer studentships of £500.
If anyone would like more information about these studentships then please contact Geraint at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll provide you with more details.
