OPPORTUNITIES IN PLANT SYNTHETIC BIOLOGY
7th Feb 2014
You may remember that GARNet hosted a workshop last year at the University of Nottingham entitled 'Opportunities in Plant Synthetic Biology'.
The workshop included fascinating presentations from pioneers in this emerging field, including Jim Haseloff from the University of Cambridge, June Medford from Colorado State University, Anne Osbourn from the John Innes Centre, Sebastian Schornack from the Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge, and many more.
You can find out more about the workshop here: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/lifesci/news/synbio/ and view the presentations that were given by downloading them from here: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/lifesci/news/synbio/programme/.
The workshop was kindly sponsored by the Society for Experimental Biology, and we're pleased to announce that our report from the workshop has today been published in the Journal of Experimental Botany.
