STUDENT TRAVEL BURSARY TO ICAR 2013

I am pleased to announce that 4 travel bursaries of £500, kindly funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, are available for Ph.D students currently studying at a UK University to travel to the annual Arabidopsis ICAR conference, which is being held in Sydney, Australia on 24-28 June 2013.
To be eligible the student must be studying for their Ph.D at the time of the conference, and have submitted a poster abstract to present at the meeting. Students must also have permission from their supervisor to attend the conference.

If you would like to apply for this bursary, please send a document containing your name, the name of your institution, your supervisor's name and signature, your poster abstract submitted to ICAR, and the reason you want to attend ICAR, to email@example.com by the 14th April. Please note that abstract submission for ICAR 2013 closes on the 14th April.
We are not able to fund travel costs directly. Successful candidates will be provided with the bursary once evidences of registration to the meeting, poster abstract submission, and flight bookings are provided.
