EDITION 18 OF GARNISH NOW ONLINE
10th Dec 2012
Edition 18 of the GARNet newsletter, GARNish, contains the latest news from the plant science community. Big Science is a major theme, with an overview of the 1001 Genomes Resource from Arthur Korte, and summaries of next generation sequencing providers in the UK (with a focus on BBSRC-funded TGAC) and data sharing platforms. GARNish also includes a feature about BBSRC committee funding and an introduction to Teaching Tools in Plant Biology by Mary Williams. Finally, in this edition the spotlight falls on the University of Bath and the University of Bristol as the plant scientists at these institutions tell us about their research.
